El Tesoro Anejo is an estate grown, highland tequila that uses stressed agave that is roasted in traditional steam ovens. This anejo is rich, with sweet vanilla highlights that are not too overpowering. Remarkably full and balanced flavor, described by many connoisseurs as one of the world's finest sipping tequilas. Mexican law requires Anejo ( aged ) tequila to age for at least one year. El Tesoro Anejo is aged two to three years in oak barrels. San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2005: Double Gold.
