Tasting Notes:
This bright golden-coloured, full-bodied Chardonnay was barrel-fermented and aged in French Oak barrels for 22 months. The grapes were harvested by hand from our 32 year-old Bella Terra Chardonnay vineyard and pre-sorted before pressing.
The nose starts you off with green apple and caramel notes, followed by a layer of butterscotch and a touch of vanilla. The wine shows its elegance with a balanced acidity and plays with those butterscotch and green apple notes on the palate until it leaves you with a long pleasant finish with hints of walnut and coconut.
Food Pairings:
A lobster bisque, creamy or seafood pastas, or simply buttered popcorn make excellent pairing options.
