In 1890, first bottles of Flor de Caña Rum hit the Nicaraguan market and in the folowing decades, the rest of the continent. Situated on the sides of San Cristóbal volcano, the distillery has been producing one of the best Rums and by 1990s, they had the largest reserve of aged Rums in the World.
